IMOS / AODN (Australie)

Data was sourced from Australia’s Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS) – IMOS is enabled by the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS). Wave buoys Observations – Australia – near real-time, téléchargé depuis portal.aodn.org.au.

  • UWA buoys: This wave data was collected and quality controlled by the University of Western Australia. This dataset is an output from the Catching Oz Waves project, which received investment (https://doi.org/10.47486/DP748) from the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC). The ARDC is funded by the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS).
  • NSW nearshore wave buoys: NSW nearshore wave buoy data were collected, processed and provided by the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water Nearshore Wave Data Program.
  • Deakin University buoys: Wave data was provided by the Victorian Coastal Monitoring Program with funding through Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, University of Melbourne and Deakin University.
  • Pilbara Ports buoys: Data was provided by the Pilbara Ports Authority with assistance from OMC International.
  • South Australian buoys: Flinders University and the South Australia Research and Development Institute provided the wave data from Gulf Saint Vincent, via funding from SA Water, the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) and the SA Department for Environment and Water (DEW) through its Coastal Research and Development Grant Program.
